On a bustling street in the centre of Poland’s capital, Warsaw, is the ever elegant and ever impressive, H15 boutique hotel. Situated inside a reclaimed Soviet Union building originally built in 1890, H15 beautifully combines the stories of the past with the style of contemporary times (i.e. leftover hammer and sickle motifs carved into the columns of the hotel’s elegantly modern restaurant). With the high ceilings of the spacious rooms and interior styling that looks like it came right out of a magazine, you’d be happy to call H15 your Polish home.

Top Tips

1. All the rooms and suites at H15 Boutique are absolutely gorgeous and extremely well appointed so you’ll do well whichever one you choose. Some previous guests have recommended requesting a room or suite with a courtyard views as they offer more picturesque views than the rooms or suites facing the street. If budget is not a concern, you should definitely opt for the Prestige suite which has it’s very own balcony on the top floor.

2. If you’re travelling as a family, definitely book one of the larger suites to ensure a comfortable trip. These suites also have in-room kitchenettes that will make cooking your own budget meals for the family much easier and thus helping you save some money on eating out.

3. While most of the room packages offered by H15 boutique have daily breakfast included, if you so happen to book a package that doesn’t include breakfast, don’t despair! The street that H15 boutique is located on has been recently refurbished with plenty of sought after restaurants and cafes to choose from.

4. While there are many of Warsaw’s attractions to see that are in walking distance of H15 (the Palace of Culture and Science is only a 15 minute walk away), getting further around the city is easy with the Centrum metro station being just a 10 minute walk away.

5. Keep in mind that there are no room service facilities at H15. Make sure to visit a nearby supermarket or convenience store to stock your minibar up with snack and drinks. This is especially important if you’re prone to wanting a late-night snack.

With close to 10 years in the travel industry, it's safe to say that I'm a travel addict.

Since my first flight at 8 months of age, I've travelled extensively through Europe, Asia, the South Pacific and part of North America. Some of the highlights were sleeping under the stars in the Wahiba Sands in Oman, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, walking on the Great Wall of China, climbing the Eiffel Tower, cruising from St Petersburg to Moscow, eating streetfood in Penang, exploring the Rocky Mountains in Canada and hanging loose in Hawaii.

I currently spend all my time putting together epic life-changing mastermind retreats or meticulously planning Luxury Tailor-made holidays around the world.
