Top Tips:
1. While all the accommodation types are well-appointed, many previous guests have recommended booking an Airstream suite, specifically one that is creekside. Guests have also recommended the Airstream suites as they are much quieter than the Luxury canvas tents. If however, you or anyone you are travelling with has mobility issues, make sure to book the fully-accessible Redwood suite.
2. The campgrounds comprises of a common area known as Clubhouse. Here guests can find the camp reception, adventure desk, and shop that sells local wine and beer, snacks and camping essentials. The clubhouse also offers quiet spaces for relaxing including both indoor and outdoor fire pit lounges.
3. Being outdoor living friendly, it is no surprise that Autocamp Russian River is also pet friendly. If you’re thinking of bringing your furry friend with you during your stay, make sure to let the accommodation know well beforehand so that they can set you up in one of the pet friendly Airstream suites.
4. Autocamp Russian River is located in Guerneville area and because of this there is an endless amount of activities to sink your teeth into. If you’re a nature lover definitely talk a walk to the Russian River for activities like swimming, canoeing, or just to relax on the beach. If you’re a foodie, check out the funky downtown scene with a plethora of amazing restaurants and bars. If you’re a wine enthusiast, definitely explore the many vineyards in the area.
5. Guerneville is also home to Armstrong Redwoods Natural Reserve, a 805 acre woodland that is as awe-inspiring as it is ancient. With trees over a millennia old, this reserve is a great way for first-time visitors to learn about redwood trees, especially because of the Nature Trail and the Discovery Trail that features a unique tree-hugging platform.
