Il Gabbiano hotel is set in the pearl of the “Amalfi” cost and perched exactly on the habitual rock facing the sea of the Positano. This hotel keeps its structure based on elegance, simplicity and most importantly on brightness. The apartment and 19 well-furnished rooms are spacious and comfortable. The gleaming Vietri styled tiled floors of this B&B are immaculate. The genuine Mediterranean hospitality gives the guests an opportunity to schedule their holiday in complete freedom.

Top Tips:

• The thin walls at the hotel might be a problem for some. Pro-Tip: Ask the management to place you in a room away from all the noises.

• Once you make the effort to talk to the staff they are very friendly, don't be put off by the reception staff, once you get to know them they are lovely.

• The visit to the beach is a must. Pro-Tip: Bring beach shoes for the rocky soil beach.

• The walk up the hill from the beach is further than it appears on maps of the area. Pro-Tip: Get the local bus back to the hotel, it will make things much easier.

• The food served by the hotel is of exceptional quality. Pro-Tip: The supper at Saraceno d'oro is fantastic and the hotel also offers the best Bruschetta.

• If you are going on outing even after the checkout time, the hotel can take care of your luggage.

• The are no safes in the room. Pro-Tip: Keep your expensive things with the hotel management.

With close to 10 years in the travel industry, it's safe to say that I'm a travel addict.

Since my first flight at 8 months of age, I've travelled extensively through Europe, Asia, the South Pacific and part of North America. Some of the highlights were sleeping under the stars in the Wahiba Sands in Oman, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, walking on the Great Wall of China, climbing the Eiffel Tower, cruising from St Petersburg to Moscow, eating streetfood in Penang, exploring the Rocky Mountains in Canada and hanging loose in Hawaii.

I currently spend all my time putting together epic life-changing mastermind retreats or meticulously planning Luxury Tailor-made holidays around the world.
