Top Tips
1. While all 87 rooms of Manon les Suites are equally well appointed, previous guests have recommended booking rooms that overlook the hotel’s Instagram-worthy courtyard and central pool area. It goes without saying that these rooms are very popular and should you want to book one, you should do so well in advance.
2. If you find that all the four-poster day beds surrounding the courtyard pool are all occupied during your stay, head up to Manon les Suites’ sun roof terrace to enjoy the sun and relax the day away. Here you’ll also find a sauna, steam room, and bucket shower.
3. Because Manon les Suites is in central Copenhagen, you are a stone’s throw away from all of the city’s main attractions. The beautiful botanics of Tivoli garden as well as the delightful food stalls at Torvehallerne are a mere 15 minutes walk away.
4. The hotel’s sixth floor restaurant serves light meals during the day and a limited breakfast buffet in the morning. If you’re in the mood for something more, many previous guests have recommended taking a short stroll to the city centre for more authentic, local breakfast fare. Alternatively, you can head to Torvehallerne for some Danish pastry and coffee.
5. To truly immerse yourself in Danish life and get to know the history of this culture capital, take on Copenhagen by foot. The best way to do this is take part in one of the many walking tours on offer. Most of these tours will take you to see the highlights of the city like the City Hall, Christiansborg palace, the Old City Centre, Nyhavn harbour, the Royal Opera, and the Royal Palace of Amalienborg. Do your research first though, as some of these walking tours are completely free of charge!
