Located in the Copenhagen’s leafy Tivoli Gardens, the Nimb hotel is steeped in history which dates back to 1843. It is housed in a Moorish-inspired palace. A high-grade marble stucco has been used for its exterior with millions of exterior light bulbs that literally brings the place to life at night. The interiors give a typical Danish feel. Each of the 17 impeccably decorated rooms comes with open fires and top-notch bathrooms. It is an exclusive boutique hotel that is magnificent and intimate like no other in the world and yet homely, all at the same time.
Top Tips:
• Almost all the rooms face Tivoli gardens. They are comfortable and with good lighting. Pro-Tip: Never book Room No. 14 as it faces Central Station, it is a bit noisy at night.
• You don’t need to buy a Danish sim card. The hotel offers free mobile hotspots.
• After a long day of exploring the city, stroll along the beautifully manicured paths and gardens of Tivoli. Pro-Tip: Enjoy a late night cappuccino at one of the cozy outdoor stands.
• The hotel is entitled to block a guarantee and not charge the card until departure. Sometimes they charge the customers upon arrival. Just keep an eye on it.
• During Summers, every Friday live music concerts can be enjoyed from Tivoli’s open air stage.
• Taxis are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel. You might face difficulty in unloading the luggage. Pro-Tip: Ask the hotel management to help you with your luggage.
