Top tips
• If you’re planning on booking one of their 6 double rooms, request for room 6 at it is the furthest away from the reception area and has uninterrupted views of the surrounding paddy fields.
• For bigger groups, opt for the recently added private pool villas. Each villa is located on its own private lot, and has a private pool looking over paddy fields and either 1 or 2 bedrooms.
• The Samara Villas are a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Ubud but the villa provides scooter shuttles in and out of town, so hold on tight and you’ll be in Ubud in no more than 2 minutes! The Villa also provides a local mobile phone with their number already on it so you can request a scooter pick up from Ubud at any time of day.
• If you’re keen to explore, The Samara Villas offer bike rentals. Make sure to inquire about bike sizes before booking as the villa does not carry bikes of every size. Prefer to cycle in groups? The villa can also book cycling tours for you!
• Food options can get a little repetitive if you’re staying for a significant period of time, make sure to stock up on snacks whenever you’re in town.
• Because you’re surrounded by jungle and paddy fields, make sure to bring plenty of bug spray and sunscreen!
