Located in the heart of Long Island City, Queens, Paper Factory Hotel recalls its industrial past with reclaimed wood ceilings, bare cement floors and sporadic steampunk furnishings like floor lamps constructed from plumbing pipes. Paper Factory Hotel beautifully combines an 'old New York' feel combined with a hipster counter culture. Housed inside a hundred year old radio come paper factory (as its name suggests), this hotel gives its guests the chance to discover the rich history that made Queens what it is today, along with the new contemporary side of the area; including the charming Kaufman Arts District and trendy Astoria.

• Paper Factory Hotel doesn’t have room service per se. That being said, Mundo, the hotel’s in-house restaurant services the rooms from 5pm to 11pm (it is, however, closed on Sunday and Monday according to previous guests). If you find yourself peckish outside of these hours, we recommend venturing 15 minutes north to Broadway in the Astoria neighborhood. Here you’ll find a wide variety of culinary options, from Greek to Italian to Brazilian. A bit closer to home, there are a few cafes on 36th Avenue and Steinway Street.
