Towering over the ever-trendy New York borough of Brooklyn is the perfectly chic, perfectly industrial Wythe Hotel. Housed in a 100-year-old converted factory, this hotel exudes both the history and hipsterism of its iconic neighbourhood, Williamsburg. If the abundance of galleries, boutiques, and bars aren’t enough to entice you to stay at the Wythe, perhaps the insta-worthy views of Manhattan over the waterfront will.

Top Tips

1. While all the rooms embody comfort-contemporary with their 13ft-high original timber ceilings, over-sized windows that let the light in, and radiant heat concrete floors that warm your every step, we recommend booking the Manhattan View King Room. As the name suggests, this room offers amazing views of Manhattan that’s sure to incite insta-envy. For extra opulence, book the South 8th Loft and enjoy the Manhattan views from your very own rooftop terrace.

2. If noise is a big issue for you, definitely make sure to request a room away from the street-side, as these rooms tend to be very noisy due to the nearby brewery. If you’re staying on a weekend, make sure to request a room away from the upstairs bar as it too can get quite loud.

3. There is no parking available on the premises so bringing a car is not an option, but if you wanted to get out of Brooklyn and explore the other boroughs of the Big Apple, Manhattan is just one subway stop away on the L Train.

4. Want to bring your pooch on your New York adventures? Then the Wythe is the place for you as pets are more than welcome (even though extra charges may apply).

5. While you are surrounded by hip bars and restaurants around the hotel, make sure to give the cocktails at the in-house terrace bar a go, especially during sunset!

With close to 10 years in the travel industry, it's safe to say that I'm a travel addict.

Since my first flight at 8 months of age, I've travelled extensively through Europe, Asia, the South Pacific and part of North America. Some of the highlights were sleeping under the stars in the Wahiba Sands in Oman, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, walking on the Great Wall of China, climbing the Eiffel Tower, cruising from St Petersburg to Moscow, eating streetfood in Penang, exploring the Rocky Mountains in Canada and hanging loose in Hawaii.

I currently spend all my time putting together epic life-changing mastermind retreats or meticulously planning Luxury Tailor-made holidays around the world.
