Top Tips
• The Resort at Pedregal boasts 105 rooms, including 29 suites, so you can rest assured that you will be absolutely spoilt for choice. Every single room and suite of the Resort at Pedregal are complete with views of the gorgeous azure waters and a private plunge pool (yes, in each and every room). While all the rooms of The Resort at Pedregal possess the same level of luxury, the Vistamar 344, an Estrella Suite on the top floor of the hotel building is completed with a fire pit and sweeping views, along with a sitting room. If you’re looking for a bit more privacy, we recommend booking the One Bedroom Beachfront Suites which are equipped with best views, their own gardens and a patio by the sea.
• While the Resort at Pedregal may cater more towards honeymooners and couples on a romantic getaway, there are more than happy to welcome children of all ages. If you’re travelling with the little ones, make sure to make full use of the resort’s Tortuguitas Kids Club program (made for ages four and up) that offers a variety of activities, from movie screenings and scavenger hunts to Spanish lessons and cooking classes. The Kid’s Club offers half- and full-day programmes, as well as week-long arrangements. And if you need even more of a helping hand, there is also a nanny service on offer.
• While you may not desire to leave the luxurious lap of the Resort at Pedregal, perhaps the resort’s Baja Luxploration program will have enough to entice you away. Offering once in a lifetime, bucket list experiences like swimming with whale sharks, hiking in an oasis in the desert, and standup paddleboarding to El Arco, the Baja Luxploration program has everything your adventurous heart desires (and it’s all catered with beautiful locally sourced meals).
• The one downside of the Resort at Pedregal is that you can’t swim in the waters directly off the resort’s private beach because of dangerously strong currents. There is however, swim-safe beaches just a 5 minute drive from the hotel. For those of you who don’t want to venture out of the resort’s warm and luxurious cocoon, there are a myriad of pools to enjoy within the resort’s property. These include the heated infinity pool by Don Manuel restaurant that is open to adults, the saltwater pool in the spa, and an all-ages infinity pool, as well as a children’s pool with a rock fountain by the beach club.
• If you’re feeling peckish during your stay, you’re in luck as there are four onsite restaurants. These include Don Manuel's signature eatery, serving a menu of locally inspired dishes (from tacos to veal chops) from breakfast to dinner, El Farallón which is tucked into the seaside cliffs that offers a menu based on the fishermen’s daily haul, and lastly the poolside bar, Crudo, that specialises in raw fish, including ceviche, sashimi and sushi.
